According to the General Statistics Office (GSO), Vietnam’s aviation industry performed well in the first half of 2011. In particular, passenger transport was estimated at 7.6 million, an increase of 15.6 percent year-on-year, while freight transport increased by 5.5 percent to 97,400 tonnes.
Expectations are that inflation has gone as high as it can given the Government’s efforts, as long as a belief that the job has already been done does not take hold.
